CONTACTS WITH OTHERS measures the purpose and frequency of any recurring contacts you would be required to have with others both within and outside your immediate work group.
From the list below, please select the level of contact that is most representative of your position.
    
Contacts are primarily internal, with employees in the immediate work area or in related units in the school district. The primary purpose is to obtain, clarify, or give facts or information concerning routine matters; OR To provide a routine service such as transporting individuals or materials, or serving food.
    
Frequent contacts with employees in other departments, and teachers. The primary purpose, in addition to that listed above, is to facilitate work processes or resolve problems using methods such as interviewing, gathering information, evaluation facts and information, or interpreting procedures; OR To provide a service to others that involves assessment of needs such as administering first aid or supervising student behavior.
    
Frequent contacts with students, teachers and/or the general public including vendors, bidders and other outside agencies. The primary purpose is to instruct and advise others to obtain desired actions, and/or to investigate issues to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
    
Frequent contact with individuals or groups who are uncooperative or committed to different objectives. The primary purpose is to counsel or persuade others to obtain desired results such as maintain school security and attendance.
    
Relationships are primarily with high ranking officials, or special interest groups, and involve active participation in conferences, meetings, hearings, or presentations involving problems or issues of considerable consequence or importance. The primary purpose is to justify, defend and negotiate as formal representative to the school district, or testify on its behalf.
