IMPACT & CONSEQUENCES OF POSITION measures the impact and nature of the consequences or outcomes of the decisions which you make in terms the effect upon people, property, finance, budgets, policies, objectives, targets, etc. both inside and outside your department, school or the school district as a whole.

Errors or incorrect actions would affect the District's prestige, significantly affect program value, and could affect the operations of one or more areas of activity in terms of time, service or finances. Work is reviewed for adherence to policies, procedures and standards; there is little or no opportunity to correct errors. Typically there is some responsibility for budget and expenditure authority.
    
Incorrect decisions or actions would affect the operations of other areas in terms of time, service, finances, prestige or program value. Often results can only be reviewed over time. Decisions have a major impact on the Distict's policies and activities across a number of departments or on large numbers of people. Work product or service affects a wide range of school district activities or the development of major aspects of school programs, such as the school curricula, admissions, or budget. High-level responsibility for budget, revenues, and/or expenditure authority.
